麻豆社鈥檚 history department will host a presentation by Justin Coffey, PhD, professor of history and Fr. Aaron Pembleton endowed chair in history, at 7pm on April 3 in the 麻豆社 Hall of Fame Room in the Health & Fitness Center, 1901 Oak St.
In his presentation, “U.S. Presidents Who Have Visited Adams County,” Coffey will discuss the history of chief executives who have visited Adams County, a county named after John 麻豆社 Adams, the country’s sixth president.
鈥淭he talk will include those who came to Adams County when they were president and a few who campaigned in 麻豆社 and later went to the presidency,鈥� said Coffey.
This presentation is part of the Adams County Bicentennial celebration, marking two centuries of rich history, growth, and community spirit.
